Application and use
Can be achieve higher slurry density at same viscosity, save the fuel costs & lower the dosage.
Slurry obtained ‘slip’ is spray dried to obtain 6% moisture, Spanflow reduces or eliminates thixotropy.
Density will be around: 1:60 g/cc to 1.66 g/cc & Viscosity 20 to 25 Sec of 0.1% Baltano SPANFLOW with combination of Sodium Silicate 1.0%
For spray drying operation achieving higher slurry density is important since, more solids in slurry-less water to be evaporated in spray drier-less fuel consumption, making the operation viable commercially.
STPP dosage is reduced by more than 50% by addition of SPANFLOW at a fraction of the replaced quantity thus saving cost.
